The group has devised a strategy in conjunction with North Lanarkshire Council to provide the park with a comprehensive network of paths constructed of appropriate materials and adequate illumination.. The majority of paths are now finished in tarmac.
The latest project is the upgrade of the pathway at the Robert Hamilton Memorial. Here we are utilising recycled granite setts provided by the local council.
These improvements will allow a circular walk and a winter light trail.
